Lowe’s Ferry is a lakeside residential community located in Blount County on the former site of the Admiral Farragut homestead near Stony Point on Fort Loudon Lake. We are conveniently located within 12 miles of downtown Maryville and McGhee Tyson Airport, 20 miles of downtown Knoxville and 30 miles of Oak Ridge.
Established in 2007, our community consists of 137 homesites ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 acres, offering gorgeous lakefront, lake views as well as quiet retreats nestled in the woods. Lowe’s Ferry Property Owners enjoy a gated community, private marina, lakeside clubhouse with workout room, and pool. Architectural restrictions apply.

Directions from Oak Ridge/West Knoxville
Drive east on I-140/Pellissippi Parkway towards Alcoa/Maryville. Take the first exit after crossing the TN River to TN 333/Topside Road, turn right, travel for 3 miles to the intersection with Louisville Road. Turn right and travel an estimated 3 miles. Right on Old Lowe’s Ferry Road for 2.5 miles. At the Poland Creek Campground, turn right on Lowe’s Ferry Road and travel 2 miles to the round-about at the end of Lowe’s Ferry Road.
Directions from Maryville
From US 129, drive west on I-140/Pellissippi Parkway towards Oak Ridge. Exit TN 333/Topside Road, turn left, travel for 3 miles to the intersection with Louisville Road. Turn right and travel an estimated 3 miles. Right on Old Lowe’s Ferry Road for 2.5 miles. At the Poland Creek Campground, turn right on Lowe’s Ferry Road and travel 2 miles to the round-about at the end of Lowe’s Ferry Road.
The lakefront entrance to Lowe’s Ferry is located at Promontory Point, on the left of the round about. To reach the lakeview and wooded sections, at the round-about turn right on Pride Road, then the first right on Lanyard Lane.
